New protocol to the double tax treaty between Cyprus and Russia
A new protocol to the tax treaty beetween Cyprus and Russia was signed on 7 October during President Medvedev's visit to Cyprus. During his visit the President declared that Cyprus will be removed from the so called 'black list' when that the protocol comes into effect. Formal ratificiation is expected to take place before the end of 2010. The protocol should thus come into effect on 1 January 2011.
